She began singing and learning music with her mother, and commenced more serious singing training at the age of 16 working with the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choruses and chamber ensembles. In 2000, she relocated back to the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she settled in her current home in Southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist of traditional Latin American music at private events. She has been involved with a number of local projects, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her love for music and arts.
